I know, I know, it's been a while. I ended up miserably sick before Christmas and it's taken a while for me to get back to my knitting, and even longer to getting back to writing about it.
Some of what I was working on last fall is still sitting unfinished, and I'll have to get back to it sometime soon (I hate leaving things unfinished -- usually I just end up ripping it out to get it over with).
In the meantime, in the last few weeks I've barrelled along with the following:
1. A secret project I can't blog about. Yet. (Oooo, the suspense ::rolls eyes::).
2. A February Baby Sweater:
Yes, it's adorable. The yarn is Malabrigo, wool and silk blend. The rest of the details escape me right now.
3. A February Lady Sweater:
Crappy photo. Happily, though, I have a new camera (thanks to an anniversary gift from my parents, timed perfectly to coincide with the need to take photos for the secret project), so photos should improve around here.
The yarn is Jo Sharp Silk Road Aran Tweed, from the stash. I want to make another of these, in Dream in Color yarn, and tweeking the yoke a little (as I found it a bit snug).
3. This that I can't remember what it is, but it's from a recent Noro book:
The yarn is Noro Silk Garden, and it's also from the stash. I bought it about ten years ago. I've got enough in this colourway to make another sweater. I've also got the same colourway in Noro Kureyon. Two sweaters' worth.
4. And lastly:
It's a sweater from the first Mirasol Collection book, in Cotonani, designed by Jane Ellison. It's a shop sample, though I have enough in another colourway to make another one for myself. One day.
More on this one when I get it done (back is finished, working on front now), maybe later this week.
Okay, that's me pretty much caught up!
